The Fryette Power Station PS-2A is much more than an attenuator / power soak. The PS-2 not only offers the possibility to reduce the signal of your tube amp and thus to bring the power amp to saturation earlier, no it also contains a 50 Watt power amp with 2 x 6L6 power amp tubes. This means that the PS-2 can also be used as a power amp, or as a booster for smaller amps. Amps like Champ, Princeton or similar can be "blown up" enormously.

Like no other attenuator, the PS-2A preserves the dynamics of the original signal. The original sound is therefore hardly influenced and the sound character of the amp is preserved. The PS-2 has received several upgrades compared to the previous version.

For example, a Balanced XLR Out has been added on the rear panel and an improved "Silent Recording" and low noise performance "Reactive Load" function has been added.
